When someone says, "everyone learns/understands in their own time", they don't really realize what they are saying, which is always very different than the words spoken.
Since most of us are still chasing time in some way or another, being also trapped in it, "in our own time" remains an excuse we use to avoid the present moment and our own individual sincere expression. We rarely speak our mind, we seldom reveal our truth, being stuck in the external chasing of linear time and the automization of concepts/words.
If you're understanding/revealing through your own experiences turned to knowing, no revelation really harms or threatens you.
We use words and phrases according to our needs, often not realizing those internal needs; our ego's hidden intentions. We also usually use words and phrases to prove and sustain our current (seemingly fixed) reality, being afraid to move from it. The manipulation of words is a vast subject, which doesn't end in any article/description!
Words and phrases cast spells, manipulate the mind, set the desired space/perception. We hadn't realized before, nor do we recognize the full extent of this yet. If you were to go back in time (or the future), to another place, you would instantly realize the different coding of the same words and you'd probably not be understood. It would take time and your coding would change to be able to co-exist in that reality. Interesting?
Back to our time/space...
We listened to our teachers. We learned to "spell correctly" (some of us labeled "incompetent" to do so); literally and metaphorically. We memorized the meanings of words that we were given, not realizing that they created images for and in our minds. We never questioned these meanings as they suited the scenery that we thought "spelled out" the purpose of our life. We ended up doubting our deeper self/knowing and our teachers, but not the words, not the meanings given to them. So, the scenery was unconsciously set!
All this is changing now. We are realizing the power of words. We are becoming conscious of them. We are examining them. We are changing them. We are forming new ones to reveal what we truly mean, who we really are.
Words are communicative mechanisms, both internally and externally. It matters how we use them and what we really mean by them. They describe the IS; what is included in our spectrum of perception. Within linear time/space, the need to prove the existing perception remains stronger than the desire to transform it. Therefore, words often lie, they often hide the truth, they are used to manipulate, persuade, enforce, violate and conclusively ensure our separated individuation (that we remain afraid of).
It all seems contradicting and confusing...
Communication is needed in separation. Wholeness wouldn't have a purpose of communicating.
We have believed the opposite. That we communicate with one another when we are whole, when we feel connected. When we are as one. But its our differences that need communicating. It's when we disagree that we need and have the challenge of communicating with one another. It's our personal perceptions that we need dare to reveal and share.
Let me repeat... It's our individuated perception that needs revealing. It's our individuation that yearns expression, description. We have been taught/believed wrong!
We have been taught to hide that unique personal expression, to fear it, to underrate it. We have been taught to follow and trust the collective set perception, the authoritative given as a "right" perception, all others being wrong. We have believed that another's perception is more important and more correct than our own. Also, that ours is right and all other perceptions are wrong. Beliefs work both ways. So we have made our teachers as gods and followed them blindly.
We have been trying to fit ourselves in boxes all set and molded for us to exist in. It can't be done!
We have instead managed diseases, crime, rebellion, wars, depression and more separation. We have gone against our nature, against natural law.
The consequences of this, need not be enforced. They (consequences) come naturally and unavoidably to show us what we have done/believed, what we need to change/reverse.
This change is hard, as we have so attempted to fit into set boxes that we have forgotten that even our own initial, unique shape exists somewhere, somehow.
Time hurts!
It doesn't heal as people are taught to think, through the manipulation of words/codes.We come into this world already hurt as we come into time (time/space are one; aspects of the same).
We are all hurt pretending to be well. Pain is a characteristic of time. Therefore cannot be escaped in time.
Those who realize the hurting have a chance of transcending time, to heal. Those who don't, don't seek any other reality/existence, so they remain in suffering, no matter the symptoms, the areas or the levels of this continuous hurting.
"In the beginning was the Word"! What beginning?
Philosophy is not so much what you read about or even more so, memorize. It's what you make of your everyday life, at "the end of the day". But then, maybe that's alchemy!
