On communication

People have been discussing for eons. They form round tables and squared tables, pedestals and rows of tables to discuss, punish, judge, separate, analyze. What have we accomplished?

No matter who’s right or how right he/she is, this sort of interaction will always end in a winner and a loser, a distance between the submitted and the suppressor; a separation of the world in black and white, right and wrong, wars and alienations.

In the best of cases, silence covers the existing war zone and we agree to disagree, going our separate ways. Or we agree to agree but it really is usually submission.

Places change and swap throughout the ages but what has humanity achieved really? A binary system we are still stuck in?

“All we have learned is one plus one equals two. But one plus one has never equaled two” Lucy

We have gone to the moon and the deep seas, we have built smart computers and sophisticated technological achievements in all areas but that’s all! We haven’t achieved peace, we haven’t really come any closer to one another, we’re not really safer or happier.

Most people don’t even realize that their creativity, their success, their achievements, the pursuing of their dreams and anything they might consider worthwhile; “worth fighting for”, is dependent on their relationships; the way they conduct each other and themselves through communication. Modern man would hate to admit that he still uses cave language, instinctual behaviors and exchanges; a language of beast and prey.

Our only hope of survival as a humanity is to discover a totally new way of communicating, a new non-linear code of conduct. Our salvation or continuance or evolution does not depend on “saving the planet”, “fighting for (man-made) human rights”, implementing more laws to the already plethora of existing ones.

All our illness lies in the WAY of communicating, but it's the only way we know how, the only way we've been taught and continue to support.

Humans are still forming clans, caves, attacks, defenses, still living in the dark trying to light fires, spend all their time and energy looking for food, living in the same repetitive cycles over and over again. We have just given all these things different names, unable to see the similarities, the correlations, the meanings.

We don't understand nature, we don't communicate with the plants, the environment, animals. We don't understand or communicate with babies and small children, we consider them immature and ignorant. We think of consciousness as something vague or abstract. We forget or never learn how lovers communicate... or what love really is.

We still don't realize that everything is related, we are ALL in many different relationships, constantly, thinking that we are separated and "independent". There's much more that we don't experientially realize although we assume to know. Yet we assume to communicate...

To deny what is, we are unable to get past it, change it…
